The MSI GX600 is the absolute gamer’s laptop and even looks like it’s strictly meant for gamer’s. It has a very distinctive case design and has some fantastic imagery done of the actual laptop that looks phenomenal. If you’re a gamer then you know that the normal standard computer with standard parts won’t be enough for your needs and you need a computer usually with some parts normally not in standard laptops.
The famous file sharing network known to everybody as Limewire has decided to move into the legal music business as well creating an online music store which is called Limewire Store. The store will allow users access to over 500,000 MP3 downloads and none of them are from major music labels. All of the music is from unsigned artists, small labels allowing it and from new talent. The store isn’t going to feature your normal set-up of music that you would typically expect. Instead it will be mainly a place for finding new talent and music you can connect to. A lot of unsigned artists are very talented and I think this will be a great way for them to finally broadcast themselves over the internet which is widely popular all across the world. Having access to putting their music on websites like the Limewire Store can only bring them new fans and exposure which is ideally what new and upcoming artists are looking for.
DirecTV hasn’t ever really taken part in the growing online market and has been basically sitting on the sidelines in regards to trying new things out. Now DirecTV wants to change that philosophy and has decided they are going to launch their very own video on demand service this spring. The new service is called “DirecTV On Demand” and you can currently test it out in beta mode.
There plans for the service are to offer two methods of receiving the movies and television shows and those are as followed.
1. Through automatic transmission of chosen movie titles which are stored on the subscriber’s digital recorder ready to be viewed.
2. Second method will be through internet downloads of television shows and other additional content.
I remember the time when ringtones use to cost an arm and a leg to download from your cellphone but times have changed a lot and technology gets better every year it seems. Now ringtones are rather cheap at only usually $.99 online or $2.99 from your phone but with the new service from Audiko you can take audio from your hard drive and upload it to there application. Once you do that you can customize them and use them on your mobile phone. All of this is done free as well which is the very best part of it all.
The Apple MacBook recently hit the shelves in most retail computer stores in North America. The MacBook’s official release date was February 26th 2008 and it came out with a starting from price of $2478.00 - $2499.00. For a laptop with so much power and features this is a great deal for anyone in my opinion. I wouldn’t go out and buy this unless you use a laptop very often though because if you don’t this type of laptop isn’t necessary and you could save yourself a lot of money by buying something that will still fit your needs but fit more into your budget. I still couldn’t help but review the MacBook though, I think it speaks out to me or something and you have to admit it is one nice machine.
